The Region 5 Chamber of Industry Commerce was launched in May 2001. It is non-governmental organization that advocates for business development and growth within the Region 5 Community which cover an area from Mahaica-Berbice to Ithaca. The membership is made up of business minded individuals from various expertise and backgrounds. The Chamber has strong working relationship with the Sectoral Agencies and is a strong advocate for fairness and equity in conducting business.
